Dear Supporter, Judge, and Community Partner,

Thank you for your interest in and support of Brevard's Got Talent, a live entertainment event proudly benefiting the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Charity, Inc., including the Sheriff's Pet Posse.

For the past 10 years, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office and its Charity have proudly hosted Dancing for the Space Coast, an event that brought our community together in support of important charitable initiatives. Over the past decade, that event helped raise significant funds and awareness for programs that directly impact families, youth, and individuals in need throughout Brevard County.

Now, it is a brand-new day.

We are excited to introduce Brevard's Got Talent, a fresh and dynamic fundraising event designed to showcase the incredible talent within our community while continuing our commitment to service and outreach.

The event will take place on June 6th at the FIT Clemente Center and will feature up to 15 selected acts, chosen through an audition process evaluated by a panel of four judges. Performances will include a variety of family-friendly talent such as music, dance, comedy, and other unique acts from across Brevard County.

All performers are required to audition, and selections are based on talent, originality, stage presence, and overall audience appeal. The live showcase is structured to ensure a professional, safe, and engaging experience for performers, judges, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees alike.

Funds raised through Brevard's Got Talent will directly support the mission of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Charity, Inc., including the Sheriff's Pet Posse, helping fund youth programs, community assistance initiatives, animal welfare efforts, and other outreach services that strengthen and uplift our local community.

We are grateful for the dedication of our performers, judges, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who make this event possible. Your involvement plays a vital role in both celebrating local talent and continuing the tradition of meaningful community impact. Thank you for being part of this exciting new chapter. Audition Application & Event Rules

Event Date: June 6, 2026

Event Location: FIT Clemente Center

Purpose: Fundraiser benefiting Brevard County Sheriff's Charity, Inc.

Part II: Official Rules & Guidelines

1. Eligibility

  • Open to individuals and groups of all ages.
  • Performers under 18 must have a signed parent/guardian consent.
  • All acts must be appropriate for a family-friendly audience.

2. Auditions

  • All performers must audition to be considered.
  • Audition details (date, time, and format) will be communicated after application submission.
  • Judges' decisions are final.

3. Selection Process

  • A panel of four (4) judges will evaluate all auditions.
  • Judges will score based on:
    • Talent and skill
    • Stage presence
    • Originality
    • Audience appeal
  • Only 15 acts will be selected to perform at the live event.

4. Performance Rules

  • Maximum performance time: 4 minutes per act.
  • Performances must match what was presented during auditions.
  • No profanity, explicit content, hate speech, or offensive material.
  • No dangerous props, fire, weapons, or stunts that could endanger performers or audience members.

5. Music

  • All music must be clean and appropriate.
  • Music files must be submitted by the deadline provided if selected.

6. Technical & Stage Requirements

  • Basic sound and stage setup will be provided.
  • Performers must bring their own instruments and accessories unless otherwise approved.
  • Set-up and breakdown time must be minimal to ensure smooth event flow.

7. Event Day Requirements

  • Selected acts must arrive at the venue at their assigned call time.
  • Attendance at rehearsal/soundcheck (if scheduled) is mandatory.
  • Failure to appear on time may result in disqualification.

8. Conduct

  • All performers are expected to act professionally and respectfully.
  • Any inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the event.

9. Liability & Release

Brevard County Sheriff's Charity, Inc., Florida Institute of Technology, and event partners are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

  • Participation is at the performer's own risk.

10. Final Authority

  • Event organizers reserve the right to make final decisions regarding scheduling, performance order, and rule interpretation.
